- Based in Perth Western Australia, Bruce Denny has a wealth of experience in all aspects of acting. Standing 6’ tall and with a strong build he has played many roles requiring the masculine male, whether it be farmer or gangster.
He was a Psychopathic Killer in a film which won Best Overall film for the 48 Hour Festival in New Zealand. He also won Best Actor Award at the 48 Hour Film Festival in New Zealand in the role of a Loopy Doctor. Bruce has played an Argentinian Drug Baron, (Stuart Bender films), and won a theatre award for playing Frankenstein’s Monster in a stage play for the Garrick Theatre. The Western Australian opera also books Bruce as an actor for fight scenes and carrying off the fair maiden when required. He really enjoys the feel of His Majesty’s Theatre floorboards under his feet. In 2013 Bruce performed a monologue for the 600 seconds season at the Blue Room as part of the Fringe Festival. The role was as a slightly deranged homeless drunk. It won a call back from the Audience and was Critics Choice for another performance on the Best of the Best night.
As a true professional and with many other Film and TV credits under his thespian belt Bruce is an Actor who can play a diverse range of roles, except maybe a 19 year old Blue eyed surfer dude!
